What Is the Duration of the Notice Period?
Every resident is required to serve a 30-day notice period. This allows sufficient time for another resident to view, book, and move into the room.
What Is the Theft and Damage Policy at Thane Stays?
Thane Stays provides support to residents whenever required; however, we do not take responsibility for personal belongings. Residents are advised to keep valuables securely locked and avoid sharing cupboard or room keys.
Neither Thane Stays nor the property management will be liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal items. In case of theft, loss, or damage to property, the residents of the concerned room or flat will be responsible for the associated costs.
We request all residents to treat the property with care and responsibility, just like their own home.
How and When Will My Deposit Be Refunded?
Your security deposit will be refunded when you permanently vacate the room after serving the 30-day notice period. The amount will be refunded through the same mode of payment after handing over the keys and deducting any applicable dues (electricity, gas, or extra days, if any).
Under What Circumstances Would My Security Deposit Not Be Refunded?
A resident’s security deposit is generally refunded after serving the 30-day notice period, subject to standard terms and conditions. However, the deposit may be partially or fully forfeited in the following cases:
- If the resident vacates without clearing outstanding rent or dues
- If damage, misuse, or harm is caused to the property
Repair or replacement costs may be adjusted against the deposit, and legal action may be initiated if necessary.

Do You Provide Food at Thane Stays?
